Go to a car meet and ask other owners to hear their setup? Videos do no justice.

I have the Corsa catback and no way in hell am I putting on a header. I've heard in person the catback + uel header and other components changed.. holy hell is it loud! Btw, there's a reason why it's so expensive. No drone at all, and that's what I was looking for when I was still shopping around.

I second what Mr. Impreza posted.

Exhaust Setup: Tomei catless UEL, Tomei Overpipe, Berk Catted Front Pipe……and then what?
Solution:

Sell your setup. Go w/ Apex'i header/overpipe/catalyzer setup if you must run a catalytic converter in your system.
Or, sell the Berk and run Fujitsubo front pipe if you don't need to run a catalytic converter.
Select your favorite exhaust.

You know you can add more resonator to the midpipe to keep volumen down

Oh yeah, thanks for the reminder!

Well, if I ever do decide to chase more power, I'll keep that in mind.

I still use the stock front pipe to retain one cat and to keep the resonator. I am considering buying another resonator and having it welded into the front pipe to tone things down a bit.

Keep this in mind if you might go FI. Dont worry about power, +/- 2 HP isn't going to make any difference.
Thanks for the reply! Exactly what I was hoping for. Have you heard any other setups in person? I've heard the full cat less with a non res Perrin and that may have been louder than my catted N1 setup.

Maybe my fears of going magnaflow and it being too quiet aren't justified. Maybe it's what I need. Thanks man.

I'll be putting on a uel header and and have the corsa installed right now. I'll update with how the sound is and try and get a decent sound clip. Will be putting back stock front pipe

Great, would love to hear your thoughts!

Some others I didnt consider:

Perrin Resonated, FT86 Speed Factory, and the Megan catback.

I've got the Perrin 2.5" resonated (with UEL catless header/OP/catted FP). I like it, but it's not the deepest sounding exhaust. If you want deep, you probably want something different. Maybe the Perrin 3" resonated would be better, not sure.

Awesome feedback. Thank you. The un-resonated I heard was pretty raspy.

Leaning towards Magnaflow. Can't find it any cheaper than $660 on Amazon. Going to check with some vendors now.

I may also paint the system black to keep with the 'stealth' look on my car. Fingers crossed it isn't too quiet.

I sometimes see them being posted for sale for really good prices on here, if you are willing to wait. Otherwise, Magnaflow has an awesome sound - was about to go that route until I discovered Corsa.

So I installed the uel header today. I will upload sound clips when I get the chance. I absolutely love it with the corsa exhaust. I put my stock front pipe back on and believe it or not.... It's quieter than the corsa exhaust with a cat less un resonated front pipe. People even commented that it's quieter. At WOT she screams but it's an amazing sound. I don't think I'll be putting back on the straight pipe... I think this is perfect
