Hey, I was wondering If anyone in the community has these size rims and what they look like on the car. I like a smaller rim because It will add more drop and 16's don't look that bad on small cars. Also Tire Specs would be very appreciated even if stretched. Please post Images If you know of any. Thanks

16x9.5?.......OO I think you will find 16X8 is about the largest size on 16s (if you wanna get tracking with it & stuff) & a few 16X9 from american wheel company here & there.
Anymore is just show car wheels. |

Do you think 16x8.5 would cause any problems? I see a lot of drift cars have wider rims with like 255 or 245 wheels because more grip on road. Either way I'm not trying to make a track car out of my BRZ, but drifting is fun every now and then.
Also, on Car ID they have some rims that are pretty nice with 16x8.5 and 16x9.5 specs |

The size of the wheel will not directly impact the amount of drop. The tire diameter is what matters. Depending on the width of the wheel the most likely tire sizes would be 205/55 16, 225/50 16, or 245/45 16 and those are all going to be about the same diameter as the stock wheels. There are a few tires available in 225/45 16 which will drop the car some when compared to stock. It will also fill up the wheel well less so you need to take that into account. |
