Speaker adapters
Hey changing out the stock sound system. Heard there were a few people on here that can make custom 6.5 speaker adapters. So if anyone can help me out I have money ready and could use two sets one for the doors and one for the back seats.
Thank you |

Please follow up on what you find. I bought some generic toyoga adapters online, and while the install on the door fine, my mids are a tad too large to fit in the adapter! I may need to get something custom as well.

Make sure that you get ones for 6 1/2" speakers. I bought adapters for Toyota locally and they are perfect fit on my BRZ and Focal 6 1/2" speakers. But I also noticed they had similar adapter for smaller ~5" speakers. Make sure to get ones for 6 1/2" speakers.

Also keep in mind not all speakers that are 6.5" have the same diameter cut out hole. Some modification may be needed.

Yep, this was my issue. The adapters are for 6 1/2" speakers, but the basket on my drivers require a slightly larger hole. The adapter is hollow plastic as it is, so i don't want to weaken it further.

Bought mine from this guy. Fast ship and everything fit perfect. I replaced door and dash speakers using his spacers.
