Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I just want to clarify. If I have already ordered the GTS and scheduled to come in October, can I still order the aftermarket stuff eg. Reverse camera/sensors and should I tell the dealer ASAP?

reverse cam/sensors are dealer fit items for Toyota so it shouldn't effect your production. however its always good to tell the dealer asap.

I've got a great idea.. Learn to reverse!!! ^_^
It isn't hard, it's really a fundamental part of driving. PLUS the car is small!!

I can understand sensors or cameras on modern cars with their stupidly high belt lines and poor rear visibility.

retrofitting either of the above to any car pre-2005 is just showing how poor you are at driving though.

Either way I reckon you should be confident enough to be able to reverse a car a few m max without any extra visual aid ... lol. Rear vision on this car is hardly worse than any other car.

I say always reverse slowllyyyyyyy and you'll be fine not worth $600 at all ...

that's my 2 pennies worth anyway.

Totally agree ^^ I don't even use the cameras that are factory fitted in cars I drive at work, and I pay little attention to the sensors.
Modern day divers are so lazy. Why buy a sports car if you want to be lazy?

But if u really want them, get them fitted.

I'd rather spending the $600 than damaging the car!!

Each to their own, yeah. Get them if you want.
$600 can go a long way to stuff you want (rims, tint, etc) if you can drive properly. Just saying.

Because most of the people buying the cars are far from being "enthusiasts" if you haven't noticed. No offense.

its not a luxury car, and was never advertised as one. it has a few mod-cons that are quickly becoming standard features but lacks others that were considered to be too fluffy, expensive, or interfered with the primary goal of the car.

if you want heated/elec seats go buy a hyundai.

LOL Why would I be offended if other people are buying a car that may not be designed for them or suit their needs??
And I also think you missed my point anyway, all good
