Boom.
You've misinterpreted my post. I said that cars can have similar features to human faces, but they don't have to look exactly like one. You are taking this resemblance thing way too literally.

You would be right. This is a pointless argument either way since everything discussed is subjective. Because of that, I'm going to bow out of this thread. However, allow me to point out that it was you who started this "stupid topic" to begin with.

And yet I seem to be the only person not really taking any of it seriously.

To the OP- Scion being shutdown won't matter at all. It won't amount to a pisshole in the snow. Toyota does now and will continue to service the FR-S. Don't think of this as Scion being shut down, think of it as a re-design (emblems and all). So as far we're concerned, the only prob we may have one day is finding parts for our 1st ed (or whatever it'll be called) 86 (AKA FR-S).

Don't worry, get the car.

No wonder badge engineering works so well in North America, people would actually think they are independent car companies.

Besides, if the front fascias of cars looked like faces, should my cheeks be black? Should I have a badge on my forehead?

Point being, cars can have similarities with facial features, but they don't exactly have to look like a face. That's just horrid.
Mustache, black cheeks AND a badge on the forehead!

Apparently the BRZ is the Charles Manson of cars.

You can haggle and get the car down quite a bit. Paying MSRP for a car isn't the norm...

From what I remember, the FRS had a higher Cd but higher downforce on the front. They're both very sophisticated aerodynamics wise considering they have nearly the same drag as a Prius without looking like one.

Body kit and rims are obviously much easier to retrofit than amenities. I didn't want another purposely decontent car like my old North American spec VW.

When I bought my BRZ, the top trim came out a bit cheaper than an optioned out FRS which still came with less equipment than the BRZ.
SO far as I know, the special edition FRS's came with all that stuff too, but you paid more than the BRZ at that point.

For example, I added HID for only $20, rearview camera for $30, etc.
Subaru/Moostash is better car? I thought its same car. My FRS has Subaru marking all over the car.
Can't really compare a $20 HID kit to true OEM HID's, sorry. Ditto on the reverse cam (that wasn't standard on the BRZ either so kinda moot), as the cheap ones generally don't do low light well, and don't last as long.

Heuberger was selling Limited BRZ's for less than a base FRS at one point, so haggle haggle haggle.

I see this too...but it's still a silly arguement.

Engineering Explained said in his reviews that FRS has Cd=0.27, BRZ 0.28 except series blue which has 0.27. Of course these are minimal differences.

Actually base FRS and BRZ Premium are Cd=0.29, add the stock wing takes it down to Cd=0.28 (BRZ Limited), and add the underbody panels with the stock wing will achieve Cd=0.27 (Series.Blue).

In Japan the Aero Package includes the underbody panels and rear wing.

IIRC a Prius at least the last gen was Cd=0.25. If they used the old Cayman as a baseline for the twins, they already matched the Cd with the base trim.
