I had the dealer install the new bracket and SD card last weekend. Was a painless experience as I called them up, they ordered the parts, they called me when they were in, and I scheudled an appointment which took less than an hour to complete. No issues thus far.

If anyone is having trouble with their navigation constantly searching for a satellite and never finding one give this a try.

Funny that you should bump this.. I've had this issue twice now since ownership and the second time happened this past weekend after my car was out in a major thunderstorm. Since all the GPS and head unit parts are under the dash, I'm not sure if its related to the storm at all.

But I was not aware of the TSB. I think I'd rather just have the dealer apply a permanent fix rather than fiddle with it myself. Real scary/annoying when GPS randomly stops working when you're in the middle of driving somewhere completely unfamiliar.
