Oh, yes @JFunk in addition to the manual, here is a "humfrz shifting supplement" for your readings:

I would suggest that when shifting, wind up the last gear pretty tight (4-5,000 rpms) before shifting into the next higher gear.

Also, when shifting, pull (or push) the shift lever slowly and firmly into the next gear.

It's not a toggle switch ..... the lever is moving heavy transmission parts.

I suggest you NOT "lazy leg" it ……. push the clutch pedal all the way to the floor.

Oh, yes ..... DON'T ride the clutch; when you're done shifting put your left foot back over on the dead pedal .....

The transmission will shift smoother, the warmer it is ...... that's just the way it is.

Thought I'd include a link to a post I did to help another new-to-manual driver become comfortable with the clutch shifting just in case it's helpful.

As @humfrz states, don't ride the clutch in normal driving. But in the semi-how-to above it's useful to learn when/where the clutch engages.

Just did a quick pull in her for the first time, and coming from a Lexus es300 the frs feels surprisingly fast as everybody says it's a slow car blah blah blah

In keeping with the direction of this thread. Can you post a pic of your girlfriend washing your car? I don't really care if she's using dish soap or Magoo's Magic Cleaner.

2) Try driving the car at an HPDE/track event. The car is in its element at the track, and you will learn to be a better driver.

This is the advice I needed after taking the car up to 80 yesterday it felt quick and nimble just amazing

Use a credit card to pry, goo gone to clean, let dry, then push new ones on. Can use a blow dryer to heat up adhesive to help loosen if needed

Got the supplies but I've read the paint in the front is very thin and delicate
