Wow! That does look much better. I notice with the facelift angle is key.

Looks good. That front end would be cleaner if Toyota didn't choose a front vented look at the foglights. I like it, but it's not perfect.

Concerned about the Primacy's are staying. Really want to hear driving impressions.

hey guys! my first post right here
so the 2017 will be my next car and i have some little news about the 86 that i didn't see in this post yet so maybe no one know this stuff.
(i'm from italy and i guess this will be the same for all EU 86)
the new 2017 86 will cost here 30500 euro, for that price u get the car, bi-led lights, metallic paint (for free) and the same spec as the current model (interior ecc).
the car is WITHOUT spoiler and there is a optional called SPORT PACK that has the rear spoiler and better dampers, the pack cost 500 euro.
Also the colors available will be white (don't know yet which type), orange, blue, black, dark grey and red (not 100% sure about the red).
sadly no yellow available (thats a shame because i was thinking red or yellow for mine).
Tomorrow i'll visit at least 3 dealerships and if they give me some more infos or brochures i'll post them here

If I remember correctly, the primacy are gone you get turanza instead at least here in the states. No confirmation on tire yet at this moment. The turanza are Camry tires

EU mandates HIDs come with headlight washers and automatic headlight leveling.

Hey guys, not a lot of news but 3 different dealership told me that if i preorder the 86 in june i'll get more than 4k euro of discount, its almost 15% of discount not bad i guess.
The only news that i got is that the only option that u can choose now is sport pack and leather pack.
Everything else like nav, sound system ecc can be added later.

The wing on the refreshed FR-S is nothing like the wing on this concept - for one thing, it's got endplates that the concept wing doesn't have. And the "bumps" above the mounting points are a completely different shape.

I don't like the new front, I prefer the current. I also prefer the current side badges as well, though that's relatively minor I guess. The +5 HP and +5 torque and slight gear ratio differences are interesting, but also very minor and I doubt we will see much performance increase from them if any at all.

I kind of like the new taillights, the rest for the most part seems the same (some minor interior differences) Also I'm not really a fan of the audio controls on the steering wheel but I guess they might as well now that the car has a backup camera.

I was going to rip off my scion badges and replace them with Toyota but I think I will keep them on just because Scion is no more and it might make the car a bit more unique as time goes on due to this car being rebadged.

All in all I don't think it's worth the upgrade until they start adding some real performance increases. Car still look beautiful by all means, I just don't really like all of the changes entirely.
