We're both of the gaskets wet or just the passenger side? If they are both wet, could it be just blowby? Was only one injector dirty on the passenger side? |

I searched on "IS300" and "lower gears" but found nothing.
Did anyone install the lower gears from an M/T, LSD, IS300 after installing this? If so, did you get better mileage? |

51-4223 For future part numbers you can also reference Pages 3-7 of the installation notebook. Each part included in the kit will have designated "P/N." In the above case see: PG. 3, Bag #4, Item 6. Please let our tech dept. know of the torn o-rings and we should be able to mail replacements right out. |

From the picture, it seems like there might be some tearing on one of your seals. Somewhat hard to tell if it's damage or grime from just the picture. Edelbrock suggests using lubrication on these to keep from folding or tearing during installation. |

That looks like casting flash that just has oil on it.

Nice catch, that does look like exactly the same place that got snagged on the other install.

Have a whole (small) tub of silicone grease dedicated to putting the new gaskets in. Will probably be a project for next week, I'm still rushing to get motorcycles prepped for the weekend.

This may pertain to you since you have similar idle issues, and CEL codes as I did relating to a vacuum leak. My vacuum leak was coming from the actuator that sits under the driver side of the Edelbrock supercharger housing. Every time I sprayed it with the car on and at idle, it bogged down and stalled out. Huge shoutout to Topher from Edelbrock for helping me get the replacement asap. Same day as I called Edelbrock, Topher shipped out a new actuator and it arrived 2 days later. I replaced the actuator, spray tested the new one, and engine idle remains constant. Cleared the code and I'm good to go. Idle is back to normal after testing and no longer jumping or stalling out. Haven't popped a code since. Again, thank you Edelbrock for the quick response and awesome customer service.

^also, I've been told by Edelbrock to never actuate that by hand since you can accidentally tear the rubber diaphragm inside.
