I'm being a bit facetious . I't has its place but I'm sure our engines get by just fine without it (especially Na). But hey, any excuse to add some shiny's im all for.

That makes total sense!

and a catch can is a friend to all motors! The reason why I was asking was because I am thinking of buying one, so I came here to see what JP had installed

I'm pretty sure it's this one here... http://www.mishimoto.com/subaru-brz-...an-pcv-13.html

He was wanting around $290 for it if I remember correctly. Kinda made a deal with him on a partial trade for parts, but I haven't heard from him, so who knows

news

i just bought that baffled mishimoto can as well with blue tubing to match my SBD turbo kit in blue tubing as well. Nice install with that bracket at the strut brace.

also with the advent of my turbo, my tomei header is for sale if anyone local wants to snap this up. Great warble and great cure for the torque dip. Virtual dyno showed i was getting low 180's on hp and low 160's on torque with shiv's OFH stage 2 tune with it.

oil cooler

yeah i saw that but i already have the car all back together, just have to get a peice manufactured by cws to put my wastegate back together since i lost the metric m6 rod coupler into one of holes in the frame of the car

since i don't drive through traffic and mainly drive at night at cooler temps i'm rolling the dice for now without the oil cooler; sunk a bit into the car already with the SBD turko kit, with driftarmor crash bar, and pre-welded oil pan, sti PCV valve, header wrap, multiple tool-ups, extra hose clamps, stainless steel ties, and mishimoto baffled catch can.

Need to recover on the funds while enjoying the 10 psi boost once i get this thing rolling.

Yep! 190 USD on amazon.com

I would get a non baffled one, cut my own lines and be quite happy with it- but I do appreciate the fact that it comes with that handy mounting bracket.
