Had ST coilovers sitting in my garage for several months now but finally installed today. Used stock top mounts for rears and Vorshlag camber plates for fronts. No alignment yet as I'm waiting for things to settle. Drop is about 1.5 inches though the front were slammed on lowest setting and they it looked pretty good. Had to raise it up for our crappy roads here in the Midwest.

Initial thoughts:
These are perfect for DD. Ride quality is very similar to stock but in terms of how they handle bumps and road imperfections, they're more composed and much more confidence inspiring. Didn't notice any unusual noise though one time I couldn't avoid a dip around a turn and the noise going over that bump was louder than with stock. I attributed that to having the camber plates which would transfer more noise into the car. The steering felt lighter though not excessively so, though I don't know that it's necessarily a bad thing as the car tracks straight. Again, I haven't had an alignment yet but would be interesting to see how that would effect the setup. I maxed out the camber with the OEM bolts but didn't adjust the camber plates and right now my wheels tuck in nicely.

My 18x9.5 wheels wrapped with 245/35 tires fit just fine no rubbing issues.

I am thinking about setting my camber to about 1 degree all around to flush out the body lines.

I just installed my ST Coilovers yesterday and i get clunking..

Do you have that as well? I'm so irritated right now lol.

Nope no issues with clunking or any other noises. Pretty sure you need to use an impact gun to get the tophat installed on the coil. Clunking means that bolt is not tight enough. I had my buddy do them at his shop so they had all the required tools available there.

I've got clunking in my back right coilover.

The tech who did my alignment said that it could be the sway bar link, but could it be the top hat?

I used an impact gun to torque down the nut so I feel like it couldn't be the tophat.

Haven't had any "significant" scraping issues. I mainly scrape my mudflaps on speed bumps lol. My RS3's have meaty sidewalls, so maybe my car sits a little higher compared to similar sized tires from different brands.
