Extended warranties in particular, since you're paying up front for something you *might* use 3-4 years later.

Yep. That is also where she makes her most money. I have no clue what the cost is but she makes about $200 for each one so if she makes that then just how much does her company make?

Unfortunately (or perhaps fortunately), I'm saving up for a 20% down payment for a house in the near future.

Kept saying he didn't get any commission or anything from it but he was pretty set on trying to sell me it.

Oorr, you can spend on your retirement first then save up for buying a house. On the road you can buy a nice vacation to your folks and car parts
