A lot of folks get caught up in what the monthly payment is, and not what the number actually means. It's a pretty common sales tactic at shadier buy-here-finance-here joints.

Yah! Not to toot my own horn but I think the sales dude had a feeling I wasn't the typical first car buyer amplified by the fact my parents were tagging along for morale support so he couldn't pull a fast one. Probably spent 2 hours reading the contract line by line LOL.

I have found over the years, with most sales contracts, it's a waste of time reading all the "boiler plate" language. If you have a challenge about that language, you might as well take it to an attorney ....... because that's who wrote it.

HOWEVER, I feel it's VERY important to read and understand, numbers and or words, that sales folks write or type in the blank spaces in a contract or agreement.

NO! .... don't quote me ....... I'm jest sayen .......
