See that's the thing, they do have a good unit in the Outback,Forester and Legacy and from what I can see, that unit can fit ok in the BRZ. Though if I must go without navi, I'll just bluetooth it through my phone lol. Unless the same stuff interior upgrades is in the 86 that is.

That's the 7" unit; the 6.2" unit offers far fewer features. Subaru decided not to put the effort into either squeezing the 7" into the current dash or creating a 6.2" w/ Nav (and the other missing features) just for the BRZ.

Remember, this is a small production model, and in most other markets it comes with a Toyota radio, an aftermarket radio, or no radio at all. They're not going to put a huge amount of engineering effort into a head unit that will only move a few thousand units a year.

I know that, hence why I said I wish they'd add the 7" unit in the car instead. Figured they'd add something to distinguish themselves more. If the 86's interior doesn't look as base-model-like as the one they showed in NY with the lack of steering wheel controls for other functions like bluetooth and voice command, ill take that instead or resort to my phone, which i find a hassle. But the performance pack is still tempting, hopefully Toyota releases something similar. Hopefully that LCD screen is also on the 86.

Any thoughts on what a retrofitted front bumper is going to cost with paint and all?

I like that they're making little updates. It's never bad to improve on the little things.

I like the Brembo brakes.

I'm a little worried that I'm going to be tempted to sell my HyperBlue for Series.Yellow. If there's any trace of the Subaru tS in the Yellow BRZ I might just do that.

Otherwise I'd be more interested in putting the Brembo Brake Kit on my HyperBlue.

I find it hilarious that nobody ever talks about the compatibility of chassis control systems whenever just literally swapping another set of components onto the car.

It's bigger and it's red so it must be better!!!

Whenever I buy something I want to make sure it's written somewhere by the manufacturer that the kit is actually compatible with my particular model year and chassis code.

No mention of auto transmission anywhere. Think they're stopping production of that variant?

It's still around but doesn't get the tiny power bump. Remains at 200
