The early pics do not show it but it does appear in the later ones. The very first pics are just 16s with some of the 17 features tacked on them. Probably some of the parts were not even in production yet and they only had a handful of design prototypes of the others.

Not intake or tune, cuz that 5hp bump is on Manual only not auto.

Fall...When in fall?

After test driving a few used FR-S/BRZ's I kind of decided I didn't want someone else's car and we are so close to the new 86. So when is this buggah going to be in the dealers?

It could be just the different gear ratios in the worst case scenario.

5hp would probably be about the same amount that would show up on a dyno from a shorter final drive

Officially it is a September release date. In real life they usually start to be available in early July or as late as November. It all depends on your dealer's orders and location.

Also a tip I figured out, when i got my 2016 a month and half before it was at the dealer, is once you see the car on the Toyota website with a price you can order the car. I ordered my FR-S in May of last year when it was on Scions website. The dealer didn't even have a stock number for it but they can put a reservation for one in the color you want and when the dealers get the inventory list you get yours first. I put down a $500 good faith down payment to reserve mine and a month later they had my car, the only 2016 they got until August when their regular stock came in.

I'd hope not. The power stats are at the flywheel, so that'd be pretty disingenuous.

Was the model shown at the New York Auto Show the final product? Do you think changes could be done between that time and September?
