I've had a Bluetooth obd2 port reader and torque for the past year. It's awesome. When I do mods, I run it to check things out, I scan codes and monitor everything. My last var was heavily modded and it was great to have. I had a dedicated wideband AFR gauge and boost gauge on that car but honestly Torque is good enough I didn't need them (that car had a wideband AFR sensor stock that reported to the canbus)

If I mod this FRS I won't bother with gauges and I'm selling my Autometer wideband gauge

I received my OBD2 reader and cannot get it to pair with my iPhone 6. I ended up getting ieGeek WiFi Wireless OBD-II Mini ELM327 OBD2 since it says it will work with iOS. The instructions were pretty much lacking any detail. All I get is a red light when I plug it in. Do I just plug it into my car, go to my iPhone and then look for the device in Bluetooth settings? I tried a free app BlueDriver and then purchased the recommended DashCommand without success.

I was able to get a connection through WiFi but never bluetooth like the instructions say. Anyways, when I try and connect through DashCommmand, I get a bunch of flashing lights but then connection fails. I wonder if I have a bad device?

I have a cheap-o Android bluetooth OBD2 reader. It's an iAutomobil OBD2 Scanner and it connected with Torque easily. I don't know the first thing about Apple phones or Dashcommand

I couldn't get it to work so I sent the damn thing back. I'll look for another device that works through WiFi for iPhone. So, all in all, I have no update on this issue yet.
