.... I do plan on disabling traction control this time (as much as the car will let me via 3 second button press) so I may just pee myself if something were to happen!

If you haven't spun out intentionally or played with losing the tail, see if there's somewhere out of the way where you can get comfortable with that.
Either way, you'll end up spinning your ass off at first.
