What size/offset are the wheels? What kind of Hoosiers are you running there? Looks mean. Are they poking out a little from the fender?

I'm looking at some R6s for my STi, and wouldn't mind if they could also fit the BRZ.
These are Rota DPT 18x10 ET35 on Hoosier R80 slicks. They poke huge and they fit but they don't really fit

Yes stock alignment so there is still more speed available there. I'm going to see if I can get some camber bolts in the front but honestly it's the rear that really needs more grip.

I figure if I can't make a ton of power I better at least sound like I am while racing this weekend at Hyperfest (Summit Point Raceway)

3" Stainless Steel Cat-Back Eliminator. Sounds mean!

I had a different experience with the FRS this weekend racing at Summit Point. The power steering was really fighting me lap after lap coming down the shoot and into turn 5. Not really the best place to have funky steering feedback.

This track has sharper turns and therefore the lack of power was really apparent as I tried to keep up with the competition.

Tire pressure is super critical also on this chassis and some tweaks to that had the car feeling better for my 2nd and 3rd sessions.

Did the STi Brembo swap on the front with race pads and braking was rediculouse but way out of balance as i had the wrong rear pads. Entering turn 1 i was braking past the last marker. Wow! I didn't dare trail brake as it felt like the rear was up in the air.

this is awe inspiring.

I cant believe you just bolted on the slicks and hopped in like that. props to you mate, as I said, inspiring!

With your comments in regards to a lot of sway bar limiting curb use, is that in regard to the car becoming unsettled or something else? I'm definitely keen to get mine out on the track when I get it and this thread is perfect.

Video didn't upload with the video in video plus the interior sound so I'll fix that tomorrow. I was concerned i was getting owned on the straights by a Miata until I spoke with the racer. 2400 lbs and 140 whp. We had a fun battle and I have a good feel now for the strengths and weeknesses of this car so it's time to get to work.

Yeah my stock of tires consist of Hankook C91 compond 214s or Hoosier R80 slicks.

nice driving.....can't wait to try mine out for a couple sessions....glad to hear the stock brakes survived without significant fading...but once you are used to the "bite" of real race brakes....street ones just feel so weak....

This video was very great to watch and it seems like the same old story; the FRS/BRZ catches up with late-braking, corner entry, and high momentum, then loses a bit in corner-exit and straight transition. I think the car does very well and only needs some power, some suspension tweaking, and weight reduction to be a track giant.
