Secondly, a nice photo dump of some of the projects from the last week or so.

A 996TT in for a full Forge Performance boost host and diverter valve kit, along with a new OEM boost solenoid.

Old

New

I recently became a Velox dealer, so PM or Email me for inquiries and install packages

Velox Agressive Diffuser on Adrian's BRZ

A grillcraft grille to add some extra protection

Removal of some Crawford Billet Power Blocks (not boost friendly!) And some fresh spark plugs

1 Owner 911SC in for a full suspension refresh!

2013 STi getting some cooling upgrades. Perrin Oil Cooler and Koyo Radiator

A clumsy tow truck driver bent the rear control arm on this Esprit(Old Lotus's spend a lot of time on tow trucks)

Set a RaceCapture Pro up in the shop car for laps timing and telemetry! I've got 3 of these units left and letting them for a steal!

Then a custom oil cooler designed for @BigFatFlip so as to not to block the Edelbrock LTR!

I'm not usually one to brag, but I'm just waaaay to happy how well this thing turned out. Thanks Neal for the fab work! (Like a typical engineer, I'll take the credit for design lol)

Stealth oil cooler

Took me a couple passes of hacking up that cover to fit with out taking off the bumper, but I got it on there. Plus, now its removable just in case I want more flow (just gently yank it off!).

Bump for @The Racers Line and the great job Neal did installing my Vortech V2 Track duty supercharger this week. I was super impressed with Neal's attention to detail and his resourcefulness. His experience with these type of installs really showed when I challenged him with installing a used and not-quite-complete kit that had been rebuilt and upgraded by Vortech to tap into my engine oil. I'm positive any kit, especially a new one with complete and organized hardware, would be a piece of cake for him.

Kudos to The Racers Line and I couldn't be more pleased.

I'm gonna take the liberty of posting on my own since I'm always at the shop, literally almost every Wednesday or Thursday lol, sorry Neal.

Went in for a couple things:

1. Oil change with 6 quarts of fully synthetic Amsoil, new filter, and replaced my oil return line line dropping from the base of the turbo, down into my oil pan.

I usually do my oil changes at home on my own, but I figure I just bring everything to him since he had to replace this hose (which would need an oil change anyway otherwise oil would shoot everywhere) and because he likes how easy the fumoto valve makes everything lol.

2. Also did a full radiator flush and pour of new coolant. 71k miles on the car and I've never done a coolant flush. Bought 2 jugs of OEM blue coolant from Subaru. Neal also had some new Perrin Radiator hoses in red waiting for me.

3. And last but not least, the main reason for my visit. I had a little bit of a worry for my engine from a couple nights ago(my engine is at 71k miles, and I've been running the turbo for just about 30k miles) so I wanted Neal to do a leak down and compression test to see if my head gasket was ok or if the engine had excessive leaking happening. Turns out the vacuum reading off my car is well in the -20's so compression is healthy there. Neal did leak down on all 4 cylinders and we came to the result that the worst we saw was about a 3-4% leak down, and all 4 cylinders were well below 5% difference of each other which Neal told me is amazing considering the mileage on the car and the miles I have running forced induction. Piece of mind for myself so thanks brotha for doing that.

@AyJay I'm so glad you went with the V2. Ironic in the naming convention, but the V3 version (most popular kit Vortech sells) is not what you want for aggressive driving (as I've witnessed you've done once or twice before). Just remember now that you are at about 7 quarts of oil

Thanks for sharing your experience with the v3 kit when I bought this used kit and stashed it in my garage last year. Your story definitely helped to sway me to spend the extra coin to upgrade to v2 when requesting a rebuild from Vortech.

... and yes, I suppose I would be considered an agreesive user.

Got to check out the new MeisterR Coilovers and install them on Tracy's car. Quality and fitment were spot on, and the car on the short test drive felt great. I'm sure after Tracy plays with the damping adjustments a bit more, he will give his impressions as well.

Had a busy Saturday this weekend. 3 Jackson Racing Supercharged cars along with a Vortech Supercharged RS1.0. The grey car is in for a HUGE amount of upgrade coming this week as well.
