Yep, you have to have a EDL or passport to get back into the US from Canada ....... unless you're an Indian .....

But guess what, you can get into Canada from the US, with just a birth certificate ....... but you have to have a EDL or passport to get back into the US.

I think I've stumbled upon a solution to Seattle's homeless problem .....

Good idea, we will start the bus caravan in Portland, stop in Puyallup and Tacoma and fill up the buses in Seattle.

You know, I get up every morning and escort my granddaughters to an elementary school, that is surrounded by chain link fence and "guarded" by volunteer parents/grandparents.

I pick them up every night after they are released by the teacher that must make contact with me (school rule).

Why, because of the perverts that hang around schools!

I have taken on this "duty" because my daughter and her husband have to be at work before school takes up and they work until after school lets out.

Meanwhile, my 8 month pregnant daughter, works in a management job in downtown Puyallup. As she gets off work, they leave to go to the parking lot in groups ....... why? ......... because the homeless men and general perverts hassle them and panhandle for money.

No, we do not live in an "inner city".

A lot of these homeless people live down along the Puyallup river, on the trails that were built at the cost of several millions of dollars, so people could have a park like setting to walk along the river.

NOBODY ...... day or night, goes down along the river .....except the drug and alcohol abusers that "live" there.

Do I have an idea on how to clean up that situation ........ YES!

Give me a platoon of my old Army buddies and we will go down there and throw all the homeless people and all their "stuff" in the river and let Tacoma (which is downstream) deal with them.

I may be old and out of shape, but by golly I carry a loaded .45 ACP and know how to use it ........ in case anybody makes the mistake of messing with my wife, daughter or granddaughters.........

DAMN ....... I'm sure glad I quit drinking 20 some years ago .....
