Spent all day today painting baseboards, sanding down/removing old paint and repainting the door to the garage from the house proper. Every muscle in my body hurts.

Yep, I hear that.

We live in a house built in 1983. About 8 years ago, my lovely wife decided her nest needed "updating" ...... turned out to be more of a remodeling...

So, I did all the work myself (except setting new kitchen counters and laying carpet, which I had done).

New inside doors and hardware; complete bathroom remodel (sinks, toilets, bath showers/tubs, sinks, cabinet tops); all interior painting including, wider baseboards; replaced all floor coverings; new window coverings; new living room furniture and new kitchen sink and countertops.

I told her that the next time she wants to "update", she is to go out and find a newer house ........ and we will move ........
