When I was doing some research back when I was getting new tires for Olivia and thought about adding more sidewall (basically going with "bigger" tires) I saw some references to a few car and truck models you could change it in the firmware and there are companies that make "compensating modules" for specific trucks.

Here's a way to do it in an F150. Sounds a little wanky (requires you to ground out the circuit and you can only do it 6 times)

Some of the cars have a redundant shifting mechanism in the transmission when the driver is perfectly capable of shifting on their own.

Getting in the trunk is easy. The back seat has two buttons on the top. Pull the trim peices up. Use button, Easy.
It takes less than 30 seconds. I had something in the trunk hit the button.

- Analog speedometer - too small to read and there's a digital speedometer anyway
- OEM wheels/tires - I don't think I've used them in the past 2 years
- TPMS - see above, constant yellow light on dash
- Stereo - drowned out by my exhaust which I prefer listening to
- Rear seats - I've only used them once or twice

I'd trade any of the above for

- Automatic door locks - I admit I've gotten spoiled by these in my other car
- Oil temperature & pressure readout - self explanatory

That shity little storage space in the front console, next to the push starter (for those cars that have it). Bar a packet of mints can it really hold anything else? First thing I'd consider butchering for any sort of a gauge mounting location.

I keep most cards in my wallet. Are you implying you have a credit card specifically for fuel, or to start the pumps at a place you frequent?

Ok, my fob is not attached to anything else, and I don't like it in my pocket with the safety belt on (Pity the car cant start with the key in the boot, in my laptop bag). Also, yes I have a dedicated fuel card (fraud prevention) to pay for juice and toll gates. Here in South Africa we don't pump our own petrol.
