Wish I could be there but I'm registering my FR-S at the DMV when they open at 8am. May be next time. Take pictures and let us know how it was over there.

So here's a question for the Las Vegas area locals: where do you go for "spirited" driving? The only two areas I know of that have roads with curves are Red Rock Park (which is too crowded with pedestrians, bicyclists, etc...) and Mt. Charleston (which also has its fair share of foot traffic, combined with way too many rocks on the road).

So does anybody know of a good twisty section that's not populated anywhere within a 150 miles of here?

Mt Charleston, not the main road, but the offshoot that runs south to north up from the main road towards the ski resort. lots of curves and I can't remember ever seeing a single car on it.

It's a good road, but I've seen too many big rocks on it from landslides. One of those caught too late could seriously ruin a good set of wheels.

But, ya know what they say about beggars and choosers... Not much need for curvy roads out here in the desert, I suppose.

Sorry I didn't get pics of the meet last saturday! I was too busy noticing how awesome it was having 2 Firestorm posted next to eachother; the other was a brand new dealer car that Carlos from Findlay brought up; still up for sale I believe.

The meet goes on every saturday, but I will not be making this weeks; I'm having CU2Mike drive down from Cali to Opti-Coat my car; I've seen the pics on his thread & I think this should work out really well; I will post pics of the finished product too =D

On a Random note - Scion Owners Club app for iPhone got updated today; I suspect to add recognition of FR-S vin#s; it works & I'm all registered; you can DL the app for iPhone as well as Android.

On ScionOwners.com I made an FT86Club.com - LV group just for fun; feel free to register, join & add my profile on there =P

Cool. Which BRZ are you getting and what color? Is it the premium or limited? I have yet to see this car in person. I want to check out the differences between the FR-S and BRZ in person. I won't be making it to the wednesday Fuku Burger Truck meets due to visitors coming in from out of town for this week. Keep us posted on when you finally get your BRZ and may be we can set up a meet up for all FT86.com Las Vegas members.

Well I just got my car inspected after someone hit it in a Walmart parking lot. $2900 worth of damage on a car worth under 4k means it's "economically a total loss". So once I get the settlement money I'm going to order the BRZ Premium in WR Blue Pearl w/Manual Transmission. I wont be making it to the meet this week either due to work and car smashed up haha. Would love to meet up once I got the car though, we should get an official crew going, maybe pair up with Flat 4 down the road and have one big club. I know a good vinyl guy that could make vinyls if we came up with a window design to rep the club. If anyone is interested lets brainstorm a name/logo that reps both FR-S and BRZ

Hanzo already has the design. We are just waiting on how they are going to be made. Check here: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=7430. May be you should comment on the thread and suggest the person you know to make them for all members here on ft86club as one big group buy. I'm sure Hanzo may have to see hands on samples of the quality of the vinyls. If all is good we can get this going but it has to be approved by the creator of the design (Hanzo) and the mods first.

That was messed up what happened to your last car. Hope you can get your BRZ soon so we can start up meets. It just takes a handful of us to meet regularly then I think everyone else will follow.

Congrats. Once you sign all the papers it's a done deal. I know it's gonna be tough waiting the next couple of weeks for it to arrive but it's worth it. Are you paying MSRP or higher than MSRP? Don't forget to take pics of your new BRZ when you do your pickup from the dealer.
