Scion claims the frs is to have fun driving im not saying cutting lanes and putting other people in danger is fun,but i bet alotta people will try canyon fun once they break in the engine,i understand this a very very mature forum and i respect and like that but this vid shows that first of many stupid idiotic people going crazy with the frs theres already a frs with the front bumper destroy why ??maybe because he was trying to have dangerous fun...#justsaying P.D i was just trying to particiate in this forum

@whoever made the video, driving in the left hand lane and passing around a blind corner are pretty much the douchiest way to drive possible. I just hope you lose your license before killing someone innocent.

That's what stood out to me the most. Spirited driving is one thing but this is not "spirited driving", this is at the limit while using the WHOLE road, at night, through blind corners. This is close to playing Russian Roulette, but unlike that, this involves putting innocent people at risk.

By having people condemn this behavior that also endangers innocent people on public roads instead of feeding the stupidity it can help in show that it's not cool and most folks would rather see such a person in jail.

You can afford a $25k car, you can afford track time.

As for the "internet police" comment. I agree, please call the internet police and delete this thread and any like it.

People assumed it was your video since you provided information that only someone that was there would know, I see that it's the description in the video now that I went directly to the video, but yeah you should mentioned it was the video's description and not your words.

Wow true, I somehow read over that the first time... dunno how

But yeah, people also took it as you condoning the behavior since you defended it a bit with the comparison, not that it's a bad thing, just saying that's why people attacked you

mad bros? the way i see it is let the people who are going to be reckless be reckless as there is nothing we can do to stop them. and let the people who choose the safe way to be safe as there is nothing we can do to stop them. we are all enjoying our cars differently. obviously i dont believe it is safe but there is little to nothing we can do as unfortunate as that sounds. let us all just get behind the wheel and drive. think of all the foolish muscle cars dragging on the main roads. we cant stop them either....

Maybe they had a spotter for people coming the other way? I doubt it though...

There's a canyon outside of Phoenix that is the funnest road I have ever driven (4 times). The roads are pretty wide and the speed limits are high so you don't even have to break the law to have fun. I saw trucks taking hairpin turns there at over 70mph and I was like "WTF?"

drivers can choose to be safe or reckless, but victims cannot. the general public along with enthusiasts should not condone such reckless driving. obviously it's been done, and people are still out there on these roads doing it every night, but it should be noted that it's not okay to drive in such a manner on public roads. it's only a matter of time til these guys drive off the side of a mountain or plow head on into an oncoming car.

That is true. The victims are not at fault. And it is unfortunate thatthe people who do drive reckless dont care. But i mean no one ever listens till its too late

Come to think of it. Now that i watched the vid. It did upset me that he passed his buddy. Im all about canyon runs but passing and blowing the double yellows are a definite nono. If you absolutely have to go irresponsible and drive like that at least be as safe as you can about it. That was a bit much
