Also, regarding naps, Even just resting quietly for 20-30 minutes can help, even if you dont fall asleep.

That's my plan. We push for the hour originally and then compromise at 30 min. That gives me about 5 min to fall asleep, 20 to nap, and another 5 to get back to work.

Sitting quietly is really nice as well. I know for me it feels 10x more relaxing if I take my shoes off. 2 or 3 days a week I nap/rest in my car at lunch purely so I can take my shoes off with no judgement lol

One benefit I miss when I ride the motorcycle to work, the coffee power nap.
Drink some coffee and a 15-20 minute rest in the car and I'm like a new person.

I have a pair of slippers I wear when I'm working in the office. Got some weird looks at first, but I think now people are like "Field guy, whatever. He's probably an autist"

I take off my shoes in the office. Sometimes walk around that way. It has caught on. I see others doing it.

Funky slippers would be fun.
