WTB: Lowering springs

Hello all,

Looking to drop my car in the next couple of weeks with nice weather finally here, and looking to stay.

Looking for at least a 1" drop; hopefully closer to 1.2-1.5". Sticking with springs this year because of other financial obligations, with a plan to switch to coils next year.

Brand doesn't matter too much if it does the trick.

Tein, Eibach, H&R, RS-R, etc.

Let me know what you've got.

Thanks!

Just so you know, @Stav got me a good price on Tein S-Techs. Was a boxing day deal, at $250, think they're regularly 270 though.

Fairly happy with them, especially considering that they're a bigger drop than 1", think it's 1.2" if memory serves correct. Would recommend them. The handling trade off is worth it for me to kill the wheel gap almost entirely, and the ride isn't half bad. Not OEM level, but not harsh or jarring. Just a bit more firm. Slightly more bounce over bigger bumps than stock, but that's a rare occurrence

Tein S-Tech would honestly be my preference if I had my choice, but ideally I'm looking to get a second-hand lightly-enjoyed set to save a bit of extra coin on taxes etc. so really it's all about what's available in the next little while. Someone had a set of Tein on Kijiji about a week ago that now appears to be gone, so I missed my chance.

I'm a cheap mofo this year and trying to build on a budget for now LOL. Still have to get my wheels too, but I want to drop before I get the wheels to eliminate the wheel gap. Flashy new wheels don't look nearly as good when there's still a 4x4 wheel gap to deal with.

Case in point; Garage16 has the S-Tech for my car on their website but listed for $295+tax.

The slightly used set I saw on Kijiji was going for $200.

I would love to save myself over $100 with taxes and all.

Someone help me!!

Not installing myself but I work at a dealership, so as an employee I don't pay the inflated labour rates.

I like to do a lot of DIY to my cars and have done all of the mods to my car so far myself. However, suspension is not something I would be interested in doing myself no matter what. It's not that I'm not confident in my abilities; I'd honestly just rather pay someone to do the grunt work in this case.

I will take my Eibach Pro Kit off next month. If you'd like to wait for it.

I appreciate the offer, but if I'm going Eibach, I would prefer Sportline for the extra drop.

Thanks again though!

I found a set of new Tein S-Tech for $300 tax in so I might just go that route.
