So got the call from Toyota. They confirmed bottom end is out and they are working with a warranty to see if they are going to cover a new motor.

I'm not sure I understand the question. Cold start oil pressure reaches 140 PSI.

Also, It's out! Let the disassembly begin.

I'm waiting for someone to yell at me for using that strap. It's partly why I skipped out on Thursday. Took 2 vacation days and was in the groove.

Yeah, I'd say this is about the least fun one I've done so far. That engine harness is a nightmare.

Eh, you use what you got. My favorite is to drop the engine on the ground and then lift the car up and drag it out.... lol. Done it a few times, works nice. Might not be so easy with that tall ass j-series engine though.

Your way is kind of how the Haynes says to do it but I didn't want to drop the sub-frame.

Does anyone have some black or carbon fiber look vinyl down south I can buy you some starbucks or a beer for? I'm looking for maybe a 1ftx1ft piece so I can cover the top of my Tom's lights where they have started to melt through on the top.

Not sure how far south you meant by down south...
But I have some black brushed metal if you want to settle for that.

Yup. Not as bad as some of these in this thread but I am getting bleed through for sure now. Apparently the clear plastic acts as a lens and does to the internals of the taillight what we used to do ants with magnifying glasses when we were in grade school.
