That is awesome and I believe I purchased my unit through your amazon store. I am going to stay on 4.4.4 for now but I will keep this in mind and welcome to the forum!

Sounds great. I contacted Joying China about the update and they said to wait until they work the bugs out 5.1.1 before I update. But I'm afraid if I wait too long, they update won't be $35. Is there a cut off date?

Hey guys, just a question.

I just got my joying double din unit..
But upon installing the unit, I can not get the interior dash trim to set back in.. Even if i forcefully push it.. It pops back out.
This is without the metra backet installed too.
Here is the picture.
Any help would be great

I ended up getting 200 grit sandpaper and reducing the top and bottom edges by about 1/16th of an inch. I used a sanding block to make sure I reduced the top and bottom edges evenly. It is a tight fit bit the trim does fit now. I also needed to sand the Metral bracket a bit.

Did you sand down the head unit or the trim piece ?

I sanded the head unit. Just make sure to block off all the holes so that the plastic dust doesn't get inside.

Just got a reply about my question from Joying. The head units does not support the obd2 cable to usb but will allow for both the obd2 and phone bluetooth connection at the same time.
