It's got to much "scion" in it.
They had a lot of potential too

To much Scion? All the 86s around the world out number the Scion by a good margin.

You don't want to do a search for "Orange UTE" then....

Scion didn't have a single word in the styling of the 86. It is pure Toyota.

Basically back to the early 80's Celica formula where there were both coupe and hatchback variants. Then on top of that make a cabriolet variant and a racing version for the safari rally too.
Toyota really miss their glory days. [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gp2j07aiwkk"]1984年CM *obil 無鉛ハイオク TOYOTA CELICA - YouTube[/ame] Last edited by krayzie; 05-10-2016 at 09:55 AM. |

I always felt that sloping rear windows like on the 86,the Probe,Zs,Supras, should all open like the aforementioned Celica and RSX hatches. Plus,I would love a rear window wiper. |

My old Celica could ingest huge volumes of cargo easily because of the hatch and split folding seats. The BRZ can take a lot too, but only in small chunks due to the tiny trunk opening, and the obstruction from the glass and rear structure. I would gladly sacrifice a bit of that rigidity for the enhanced practicality. |
