Yep. Flight checklists. Yet another thing written by lawyers not engineers. They exist simply for liability reasons.

I could see the fibers of the filter being damaged by high pressure air. Why risk it? If the manual says don't use air how is it any different than the FRS manual saying to use the hand brake on hills?

LOL. That was my sarcastic did at the Break In thread. Of course you should follow manufactures instructions. They write how to do stuff for a reason not some obscure liability standpoint.
