Earlier today I got informed that I have to go to a one week, all inclusive, already paid for, trip to Spain, leaving tomorrow.

The shit I put up with.

Swapped back over to corn juice yesterday. I'm sure part of it is placebo but it just makes the car feel so much better. Living in the corn belt is pretty sweet too, $1.85 a gallon for sweet sweet e85.

what oil are you running with your E85?

I know right? And here I was hoping to enjoy the upcoming overcast/gray skies and 40F weather we were going to get at home. Things NEVER turn out as planned.

Still running the oem 0w-20. Haven't had any problems with it. I did my oil changes at 5k and 10k. I have my last free dealer one at 15k. From there I'm going to Amsoil 0w-20

I ran it last year from probably July to late October/Early november. This year I plan on running it from now until late oct/november. I will most likely only go back to gas if there is not e85 available. Even then it's a pretty simple fill with gas, drive carefully for 3km, swap to gas tune, then drive carefully for next 15 km. Swap back next time it is available.

Even if it will not get cold where you are it is worth doing the cold crank corrections to the tune with RomRaider. It is very easy and definitely worth as sometimes when it gets down to like 45-50 F at night it can have a bit of a rough start in the morning
