I said it earlier: try seafoam and fuel injector cleaner additive.

So about a month ago I told Sprintex I thought my intercooler pump might be going, I noticed it starting to leak. They were awesome with the warranty and sent me out a replacement. I scheduled a dyno for today, and completely forgot about the intercooler pump issue (it's sitting in my garage). One run on the dyno and the car wouldn't let me go past 10 degrees of timing.. (tuned down 2 degrees and the knock correction 3 degrees).. so in total, I was 5 degrees of timing out... At first we thought it could be a false read.. but then we decided to feel the intercooler. It was ice cold..

Just to go further with that, I then had to drive 3 hours home, and after parking, the intercooler is luke warm at best. So, silly me, now has to change the intercooler pump.. (WHICH I SHOULD HAVE DONE AWHILE AGO).. gonna flush the whole system too, just to make sure it's not airlocked or anything.

Question Tune Options

I'm ready to configure my tune with Moto-East, but I have a few questions about map selection and the different options.

Are the map options always ON with the set map or can you disable/enable them on the specific map at any time?

How do you enable the valet mode option?

You can have up to 4 maps which can be changed with your cruise control switch. If a map has something like flat foot shifting, it will be always on. Auto blip only occurs during certain circumstances. I prefer to not have any of those features and do them all myself, thus my tune doesn't have any of those. I forgot how to turn on valet mode, but should be searchable on Google or whatnot.

I'm pretty sure valet mode has to be enabled by your tuner on one of the maps. I have mine in 3rd map

There is no real "valet" mode, it's just something that can be configured into one of the map modes.

Nope. I've gotten lazy in my old age so I'm having the shop install and dyno tune.

I will only sell intercooler separately if someone wants the 335 only. I think I snapped a rod not sure what the exact issue was I dropped my car off at the engine builder Saturday. I know there is a hole due to the chunks of metal I found.

Question

How difficult is it to load the EcuTek tune? I assume you just plug in with your laptop and run the ProECU software to load the file.

Does the tune need to be loaded prior to the shop starting the car the first time?
