No. no it is not!
A unique kit is cool. Any kit that looks like an existing car is just bull. You are doing nothing but trying to defraud everybody. Guy down the street has an kit Ferrari and he always try's to pass it off as real. Funny as hell when he fires it up since it is powered by a 1969 VW engine and there is no hiding that sound no matter what exhaust you use.


I am also totally against "clone" vehicles since most of those owners try to claim they are the real thing as well. I read an article once that said there are twice as many "Chevelle SSs" on the road now than were made. They always say "well it has all the same parts" as if that means that is what it is.
