My experience in the South outside the Coke Zone, it was usually "RC Cola and a Moon Pie". About the only thing associated with Coke in the areas of NC, SC, KY I hung out during my youth was peanuts. Everybody put peanuts in their Coke.

I can't even remember the last time I've had an RC cola.
I'm not a huge soda drinker anyway... But it's probably been something like 10 years.
