For those that don't know, "steamed" hash browns at Waffle House are a great thing. Instead of oil, they use ice and a cover to cook them. It changes the calorie content from about 400 per serving to 100 by removing all the oil (basically it becomes the equivalent of a baked potato).

To me they taste just as good, unless you like them fried to a crisp.

What if Tcoat reverses the elimination of Scion? Or mandates badge swapping voids warranty? How will the peoples of this forum survive?

No it is not. Scared the crap out of me the first time it did it. I have no clue how far you can go after the second alarm but would not push my luck to far.

For every car I've owned, I grabbed a gallon of gas and drove until it stalled, noted the gauge, dumped in the gallon and noted the difference. Haven't done it with this one. Don't think it will work with the stupid digital crap.

Brake Pads

time for brakes so what do you guys recommend for a street pad with these priority's in this order in mind.

1) low dust (This is a must. has to be OEM or less on dust levels or I will just stick with OEM pads)
2) Noise (again must be close to stock levels, a little noise is acceptable)
3) stopping power (Must be OEM or better)
4) rotor wear (Dont want anything that will just destroy rotors)
5) pad life (not too worried how long they last, they are easy to change)
6) price (no fucks given)

I have done that as well with all my cars. Only difference being I did not do it on purpose nor have a gallon of gas ready.
