No I didn't call him to discuss camber recommendations. Since I only have the Whiteline camber bolts, which give minimal camber increase, I ordered the Moore Sport adjustable top hats which should give -3 more in the front. They were recommended by another guy I know in my area that is big into autox. They have a KW/Tarmac specific model too which was nice.

Gotcha. Yes the MSI stuff is quality...they make great parts.

You can get -2.5 ish up front without plates but for -3 yeah get them.

-3 front, -2 rear is a good aggressive set-up. 0 toe front, very slight toe-in for the rear.

Andrew I'm guessing that I would be removing the spacer that I have in addition to the OEM top hat when installing the MSI top hat? Or would I keep the spacer with the new MSI top hat? I have the Tarmac 2s.
Thanks

I'm running the Mooresport top hats with OEM crash bolt and RCE T2. Got -3 camber in front with the top hats in the center slot/1 slot from center so I think there's room to go up to -5 or so.

I'm not sure which spacer you're referencing? Got a pic?

Right on, and yes I'd get more of your camber from the lower mount rather than the maxing out the plates.

I'm referring to the Subaru Impreza metal washer/spacer Myles told me I needed in order to use the Tarmac 2 with the oem top hats in the front. OEM Conical Washers (Subaru P.N # 20326AA000)

I cancelled my order for the Mooresport top hats as they ended up being back ordered and my alignment is only days away. I'll just go with whatever max they can get using my whiteline bolts with oem top hats. From what I'm reading I should be able to get about 2.5 or so with the Tarmac 2 with Whiteline bolts. I'm not doing any competitive racing so it's not that big of a deal for me to have max camber. I just race for fun.

Ah yeah that spacer. Yeah that would depend on the camber plate (some include their own).

Yeah you'll be able to get a very good amount of camber anyway.

Does the Whiteline KCA434 lower inner front bushing provide adjustability for the caster, or is it a set +0.5 deg more?

What's then the best way to zero out caster variances left/right? And what is an acceptable difference?

I came here to find this. Could you provide the technical reasoning behind this statement? Thanks

The only real way I know of is to use caster adjustable top-hats or adjustable lower control arms.

I don't know what the spec offhand is but I think mine was about a degree off side to side stock and I didn't notice any real issues.

So I'm playing around with Hyperco's spring rate calculator and I found a lot of information here and here, but what I can't seem to find are dimension A and dimension B for the rear. According to the research I've done, 98/100 is the approximate ratio for a McPherson strut, so I'm able to get a rough estimate for the front, but the rear is unknown to me. Does anyone know the two dimensions for the rear, so I can get a clearer picture of what rates I might prefer?

Also, what sort of suspension frequency would I be looking at for an aggressive street/light track vehicle? I'm currently hovering around 2.1 Hz front and 2 Hz rear per general information I've gathered. Does this sound correct?
