So a team from my school (inclujding some friends and acuaintances) just unveiled the Bagley Collge of Engineering Car of the Future in Detroit. Here's a picture of it at our vehicular research facility...

I don't know 100%, and what I do know I probably shouldn't talk about. I knew more about the original concept, which was going to be a truck.

I tried to see if they would sell me the parts they took out, haha.

One thing I will say is that it probably will be AWD, thought I'm no totally certain about it.

Also, I hope you're not hating on that color scheme

No I am hating on making a non racecar BRZ. Color is nice.

Now why the fuck would you make it AWD if you are trying to make it fuel efficient?? It takes more energy to move 4 wheels instead of 2 as well as adds more weight

AWD-less efficient isn't totally true.

One of the guys on this project was on the original EcoCar team forGM's competition. AWD and achieved 128 MPG.
Electric motor witchcraft.

EDIT: It was also pretty freaking quick, especially for a crossover. Think peak was 500+HP? Maybe 450ish.
