I find myself accidentally turning off the sport button when I rest my hand on the gear selector. I made a 400 mile round trip to Santa Cruz and found the ride a bit harsh, but then the roads kinda suck too. Not a long distance cruiser.

Not a huge deal, but I don't really like the default placement of the front plate and how they drill the front bumper. They could have easily placed it a little lower and drilled it into the top plastic part of the grille opening. I know you can request that your dealer not drill it for you, but then you have to worry about them following through with it and find another solution for its placement (ie. tow hook relocator).

I know there are many states that don't require a front plate, but for those of us in Canada and a number of states in the US, it's kind of a bummer.

If I remove both front and rear wheels, it MIGHT just fit I haven't tried yet but I have done a visual dry run. However, this is impractical for me since the bike and tires will be too dirty or muddy to get past my clean car sense

Yes, good 1 but we are used to German cars I think. Before I had a series of German cars I just held the blinker down and when I first switched over the 3 blink was odd to me.

Petty things, some probably can't be helped:

The right rear seatbelt buckle catches my eye everytime I turn my head right. I had to buckle it.

There should be a USB port for the radio in the glovebox, trunk or other hidden spot, or the center stack cubby should have a cover.

The analog speedo is useless and should have been replaced with other gauges (is it required by law somewhere?)

The seatbelt loops are a repair waiting to happen.

There should have been an option for all-season tires.

Needs sunglass storage (fixed by moving manual to trunk)

Makes my face hurt from smiling so much when driving!

Well this is a bummer. The center console where the cupholder isn't adequate? I have 2 pair in my current car...

I thought the same about the speedo when I first saw pictures of the interior. I do know the new Civics just have a digital speedo, so I don't think they are required.

The seatbelts in my BRZ are rubbing my neckline and I'm not going to use the button straps for fear it them tearing. Just bought these seatbelt shoulder pads. I hope they help and are not an eye soar in my new ride. We will see.

1. More storage spaces.
2. The head unit in the BRZ: Difficult to operate while driving (in every mode); turns off immediately when you turn the car off. Hell, GM got it right more than a decade ago. Leave the tunes on until the door opens! Takes 5 seconds to turn back on just to hear the broadcast you were listening to. A step backwards to another time that never existed!

Hmm I wish it were badged a Toyota but that's no biggie.
5X100 too bad it's not 5X114 but the aftermarket will take care of that.
Now I feel like all my other cars handle like crap.

I must've scratched it with my watch while hitting the window button but i've had the same watch for over 10 years and this has never happened on any of my other cars.... so I hate that this happened in a car with less than 1,000 miles

(cheap finish?)

The god damn, hideously ugly, subaru silver trim in the interior of the FRS. I thought that shit was awful in my impreza, and I was really looking forward to an interior without it. Now I have to disassemble my interior to remove and either replace or paint these parts. There is zero chance of me living with this shit. If anyone wants to trade their silver parts for black, especially the buttons at the shifter, please PM me.

The placement of the dome light, it reflects off the rear view mirror right into my eyes when it's on.

What's the point of the little indent between the cup holder and the shifter? Honestly I just don't know and it bugs me. It looks like an after thought, I'm sure the manual says its for coin storage or something ridiculous, but it just seems like it was meant for something else that got deleted from the design.

You could scratch that shit with your finger nail. Don't worry, you'll get more. It's worse then an old tent, everytime I look at mine I get memories of my mom telling me not to touch the sides of the tent when it's raining.
