Sold order availability varies from dealer to dealer. Some dealers aren't allocated as many for the year as other dealerships.

Most Subaru dealers will not trade their BRZs. This was an issue when trying to track down both of my BRZs. No one would let go of the WRBs. I drove from LA to Phoenix for my series.Blue. I know a guy who drove from LA to Colorado for his 2013 WRB BRZ

Well that suck but I guess I understand why they would hold onto the popular ones.

I believe production of the 2016 models is already finished. I ordered mine two years ago (beginning of April) and we had to wait for the next production cycle. Announcement seems to be delayed for getting rid of the existing stock. If you can buy a 2016 model in a reduced price, then just buy it. There should be good deals. Then keep the extra money or spent them in extras.

Tail lights look good. Like the little accents of CF on the interior. Other then that meh they can keep ot. Hate the look of that steering wheel.

Haha, when someone buys one just swap steering wheels with them. For the most part, most people commenting prefer the original steering wheel. I know if I WAS the one buying a 2017 I'd jsut give my wheel to someone with a 2013-2016 for theirs.

hypebrz: and there also were several tries to DIY retrofit other car wheels with controls with different rate of success. Imho original wheel with controls should ease such mods.

All down to personal preference. I'm that guy that absolutely loves the "basic" interior. I love the simple guages, the analog clock that everyone laughs at, the no steering wheel controls, the non-electric adjustable seats, everything. I prefer it that way, keeps the cost down, and makes you appreciate the car for what it is. If I wanted all the fancy stuff I'd buy a lexus lol

It's actually a Jeco digital clock which is a quintessential Toyota interior item lol!

You get an analog clock when you buy a modern Lexus (and if it's LC500 then it better be a Grand Seiko quartz).

The less fancy stuff the car has the less it weighs I guess. The only steering wheel control I want is the horn and maybe cruise control.

Honda was smart with the S2000 by putting the controls around the dash on the driver side instead, rendering steering wheel controls unnecessary.
