They are in some locations but anybody with a 1 is not likely interested in a 2 since they are polar opposites in target markets, styling and features.

The driver who caused the accident was Hispanic and she was from Georgia.

I'm not 100% sure she doesn't have insurance. I'm thinking she may have just been cited for not providing PROOF of insurance. I called the towing company that towed both mine and her vehicles yesterday; they told me someone from her insurance company came and picked her truck up and paid the fee.

Back to square one...

Youre lucky she had ins. Not many do and they just drive off or get out and run. GA is a rough place to drive in.

We'll see. I'm not getting my hopes up. Hoping for the best, preparing for the worst.

Glad you're okay, but, if she doesn't have good insurance you're most likely not going to get paid out in full considering the amount of damage she caused.

Sorry about the car OP You can be the best/most careful driver on the road, but all it takes is some idiot that doesn't want to put down there phone.

Like these other guys said, the car is replaceable, a human life? Not so much!

Glad to see you made it out A-OK! Really hope this forum sees you back in another 86.

May be tough to replace with the same thing so maybe trying a new platform would be in order.
Yes, and also the 65 shelby cobra roadster. You can build one to look like one and drive it around like one, but is it still an original shelby cobra roadster.

That really sucks! Sorry man.

If you can wait, maybe you can get into the Miata MX-5 RF... it looks pretty damn nice.

Well I'm back in the saddle. Unfortunately with this purchase I am removing myself from the 86 community. Hoping I can get just as much pleasure out of the STI Series.Hyperblue.

No reason you can't hang around, especially to see what's up with the updated model. Excellent color choice by the way!

I've enjoyed the 86 forum and I've tried to pick up as much as I could. I loved the 86 platform, but I was able to get an excellent deal on the STI. Hard to turn down..
