I'm still not very familiar with how e85 works
Any blend you want, but the more ethanol you have in your fuel tank, the more power you make.

I'd like to also mention that you'll make more than the advertised 242 on a non-CARB tune in the first place. That isn't the limit of ACN91, it's a limit of CARB restrictions.

Edit: The reason I even point this out is that flex fuel kits are not CARB approved, as well as flex fuel tunes.

Availability of E85 does play a large role in deciding whether or not you want to run it.

You can run E85 on the cheap with an OpenFlash tablet, but you are correct with the Flex Fuel kit/tuning option.

In regards to power, it would be 250 peak WHP. What rev range are you planning to be in when you're having fun? In the midrange or top end? The Edelbrock kit has more grunt down low and the JRSC has more of a kick at the top end of the rev range. Use that information with your driving habits to see which kit better suits your driving needs/style.

thanks! yea I've already decided the edelbrock would be better for me than the JRSC, I'm not going to track and ill be mostly playing in the 3k-5.5k RPM.

If you're going to do the install yourself, read up on the installation manual a couple of times beforehand to familiarize yourself with the process.

If you're taking it to a shop, don't hesitate to give CSG a call.

I was referring to the 250 on the Edelbrock tune and pointing out that more than that is quite likely, if not certain, given a non-CARB tune.

If you do end up going this route and plan to install yourself, feel free to bother me for any install questions.

The edelbrock makes more power under the curve. The JRSC has no advantage on top end (or anywhere) its the same. Not better. The edelbrock is nothing like the sprintex its far superior, especially the tunablity with the TMAP. I know a very trust worthy tuner who has tuned all the SC kits many times. Look at my sig.

It short the edlebrock has great low end and top end. Unlike the JRSC which is all top end >5k...typical for a centrifugal.

Can't speak to that, I don't run CARB. Best to ask in the Edelbrock thread.
