There are 2 upcoming events on TH: 24th and 17th April. This place is too far, so I want to have set of spare wheels with tires (just to be confident that I will be able to drive back to east bay after day on track). I hope I'll get set of daily wheels and tires by then.

Looks like the 24th is already rented out. You guys are gonna have to plan more in advance than that. Which is what I tried to do above and no one replied, because no one plans that far in advance.

Your best bet, if you actually want to try it out, is go with an organization like SpeedSF or HOD, they rent out the skidpad at the same time as track days sometimes.

Thill's skidpad will be available this Sunday. Register at SpeedSF. If you choose to register for either track day or skid pad and find that it's full, PM me here and I may be able to help. No promises and please be serious about attending with immediately payment. Otherwise, Thill is open to the public on either tracks/skid pad for your viewing pleasure. If you're interested in tracking, IMO this would be the perfect time to experience it and pick the brains of those who do this regularly. And as always, bring a helmet if you've got one.

Apr 17th (Sun) – Thunderhill 2 miles or Skid Pad– *only few spots left*

Thill this weekend will play host to a lot of racing! Sat/Sun NASA full race weekend on the 3mile side. Sunday - Norcal 86Cup on the 2mile side with SpeedSF. Skid pad will be available on Sunday.

@overlookedx - we've been down this rabbit hole before haha. But for 2016, we have more opportunities with known friends to hit up the skid pad as well as the track on the same day
