Not sure if serious or joking but that is a bit much. I love a beer with a meal, and even binging a bit socially but you don't want to destroy your liver or even ending up going to rehab for that matter it's no walk in the park. (I don't know from personal experience but I do know from a relative or two). My saving grace might be my job because I can't really drink even the night before if I'm flying. But abusing your body is a slow suicide and by the time you feel bad enough to stop it might be too late for a full recovery.

I used to drink that much. It was bleeding into real life, so I stopped for a long time.


I'll still have a drink now and then, but certainly not into double digits per week anymore.

Most of them are the same woman. Id have to check but I think more than half of them are Jessica Nigri. She apparently really likes cosplay(or attention) and pokemon

Definitely serious. There will be an odd night or two where I either have none or have 0 drinks.

It's a tough situation for me. My life has become super dreary of late. I'm just doing the 40 hour grind a week, waiting to get back into field work. Another big factor is that a friend of mine took his life recently, so I've been drinking quite a bit to deal with the realness of that shit happening.

Not affecting real life for me, but it's probably on the cusp of happening.

She's legend in the cosplay/fandom community. Even does voice work for Rooster Teeth, last I checked. She's basically a professional cosplayer.

Yeah, it doesn't take a lot to go from 5-6 on a weekday to 10-12 on a weekday, and I can't be at work hungover.

The best thing is to finding something else to occupy your time with. I ended up buying an Xbox and playing a ton of Forza to get through the first couple of weeks of not drinking. I hear people also like to work out. Equally antisocial as staying home and drinking, but I'd feel better in the morning/throughout the day.

Holy sh*t, they run their own Convention now. RWBY, X-Ray & Vav, The Slo-Mo guys, Immersion, and about a dozen other shows and series. I am particularly a fan of RWBY, its a very well done series. Definitely worth checking out

I feel your pain knowing what it's like to loose a close friend to suicide, but drinking to drown out your sorrows is bad news. Not just for the health reasons but it's a depressant and a mood enhancer (whatever mood you're in not necessarily in a good way). Also it raises your risk of risky behavior. You don't have to quit drinking altogether (since it doesn't impact your life yet) but you definitely need to find a new out. Today. That's my (un)officially unlicensed uncertified not medically (un)rated opinion. If talking to us isn't enough, tell a friend. You don't have to tell them you have an alcohol (soon-to-be) problem, but you could talk them about how you feel as a better outlet.
