Finally back at it... looking to begin my installs late tomorrow or Sunday sometime because I still have some polishing and painting to do. Going to remove my stock front pipe and exhaust manifold first then knock out the spark plugs, followed by fitting my intercooler and relocating my Mishimoto oil cooler. I'm probably going to have to fabricate a bracket for the intercooler since I have the Beatrush front beam brace installed.

As always, I'll be snapping pics of all my installs and making stencils for any brackets I may fabricate.

Anyway, I'm in no hurry so I'll take it slow and hopefully I do not run into any issues.

Here are some final pics of my polished supercharger.

This is the area around the HKS badge on the supercharger... decided to polish that area as well... I like how it turned out.

Polishing looks great. Is there a reason you didn't use a higher grit to remove the texture on the compressor housing? Were you going for an even look and the dry sanding with say 150 grit wouldn't get in all those corners well, so you just shined it up instead?

I debated sanding and polishing, just polishing, or painting the housing gloss black (just the textured parts)... I just got a little lazy... the compressor was going to take a lot of time to smooth out well enough to polish... especially in the nooks and crannies. As I see everything come together... I still might paint the textured areas gloss black... but for now I'm going with how I have it.

I just painted and cleared the bypass valve top gloss black...I polished the letters and masked them off... I'll post a pic later... it is drying right now. It will have the look I was/am contemplating with the blower.

It looks good. Kinda like that pitted stamped stainess steel turbo exhaust housing covers.

Spend a weekend polishing as much as you can... every time there after... you'll get all warm and tingly when you open your hood... lol

Btw, I'd start with all the aluminum tubing... you could just use Mother's or Blue Magic aluminum polish on those.. no sanding required...

I installed my Mishimoto performance fan shroud today. Of course I polished the shroud before installing...even though for most it looks just fine out of the box. I'll be doing a write up on the unboxing, installation, and operation of the shroud soon... but for now here are some quick pics...

btw, I still have to secure the 2 wiring harnesses.

Looks so clean!
