I guess I'll have to show up on Saturday now. The only remaining question is: do I leave the RE71's on or do I swap over to the old RS3's?

Actually, the correct answer is to put on the RS3's. 1. That's why I kept them; 2. automatic excuse; 3. I need to tighten up endlinks and whatnot to cure some of the clunks. On the other hand, the RE71's are already on the car and leaving them there doesn't take any work at all.

Decisions...

I need a co drive for the SCCA and NTAXS events.

A 17yr old girl pulled out in front of me yesterday ony way to work. Front bumper, hood and passenger front fender is smashed. The car is in the body shop.

I promise I won't wreck your car! Just me away front the 17yr old drivers! Lol

I'm out of town for the next NTAXS, but I can hook you up for the rest of them. If you can't find a ride for the SCCA events, I could help you there too. You'd have to run in XSTX (and I have to move their run group) since Frisbee is already co-driving with me in STX.

Sucks to hear about your accident, but good to hear that there weren't any human injuries.

How long do you think the BRZ will be out of commission? The pics I saw looked like everything was repairable, but things can get difficult/expensive if you get unlucky.

I was planning on running in X at SCCA anyways. Hopefully it will be fixed in a month. It's too hard to say right now.

The speed limit where the accident was is 55mph but I'm pretty sure I hit her at about 25mph. I braked as hard as I could but it wasn't going to be enough so I turned left to try to miss her but she kept driving straight! I think she needs to go to the Street Survival School! Lol

Every body shop in north Texas is super busy with hail damage repair. Talk about bad timing.

I might be able to help as well! Even if I just have to let you use my car by yourself. Hopefully her insurance company will get it together soon :-/

The BMW club ran nearly an identical course to the CAM challenge (they added a slalom in the back corner but that was the only change). I didn't really mind because it was a fun course, the turn out was low, we got done early, and the weather was nice.

I also got a chance to try out my new Garmin Virb camera, I got an auto racing bundle that included an OBD sensor that relays all sorts of info and can be easily overlayed into the video. The camera has built in gps and accelerometers too (that's where the map and g-force come from).

I managed 3rd in X class losing out to FTD John Clark and his co-driver Jerry Terranova, but besting Jarrett Jan and raw timing Chris Park.

Track Night in America was fun, but I think my Kuhmo's are done. They didn't last as long as I would have liked and I don't think I'll be ordering another set (I'll decide for sure after I take them off and inspect them later today or tomorrow).

I managed a 1:31.1 in the third session, which was fast enough to keep me from holding up traffic.

Well, not a bad day of autox. I'm done letting David sneak by with a late final run. Next event I'm making sure he runs before me.

My runs:

Cameron's first 3 runs (he didn't turn on the camera for his solo runs):

I was finally able to get a big enough lead that Powers couldn't jump me on his last run and I made the $15 for the 86day shirt!
