I never got to do it but from what I researched, getting the parts from Weir and some shims from Toyota was around $400 plus another 5-600 for labor.

Am I happy? Sure, I got a ten series with 15k less miles, for $70 less a month.

That's exactly right, to make the auto faster than the manual from straight stock is about a $1000-$1500 4.88 install all said and done. That gets rid of the bog at launch and drops the 0-60 down to manual levels and then some, that's a well documented 2+ second improvement and will also feel like you've gotten a serious power boost. I plan to have that as my last investment into this car modding wise other than maintenance and repairs next summer, you've got to understand the trade offs are well worth the advantages for an N/A auto car, for FI auto you're going to want to get something between 4.30-4.56. It may be the most invasive non engine mod to the auto outside of some of the suspension work because you'll have to find someone who can properly install it and worst case will keep the car down for 2 days

I need to get this done. That's really the only thing I want my auto to do better. 0-60 Thanks for the info.

Lol at this entire thread.

Once I wanted to trade my AT for an MT after someone made fun of me at a meet. Then I realized, other people's opinions don't matter

next time someone makes fun of you, challenge them to a 5-60mph roll race and see how quickly they shut up when they lose. Once you get into third and above they will real you in due to shorter gearing.

I currently have a 2016 frs 2.0. 191 of 1000. Very happy with the car but I do sometimes regret not getting it manual. After fees it was 35k. I thought about trading someone but I'm not sure yet. Pretty sure it isn't worth it

Quite possibly one of the saddest things I have ever read if this is a serious post.

You're buried in that car, so you won't be trading any time soon.
