Coilover question for those running RCE Tarmac II's

I bought a set used a while back and have had no problems with it thus far, but I noticed something a little weird on the rear suspension. I'm running raceseng rear shock top hats in the rear if it makes any difference, but the springs are compressed all the way down at the top.I was just wondering if it's normal to be compressed like that.

That's the helper spring - if you were to lift the rear of the car you'd likely see that expand to take up the slack once there's no weight at all on the rear suspension and it's fully extended.

Yep, like CJD said, that's the helper spring. It's supposed to be like that.

Totally normal, those are helper springs that can be compressed very easily, they help take up droop when the suspension unloads.

Yup. Without the tender spring, if that corner became fully unloaded the main spring might not be seated properly when everything compressed back to normal.
