Picked up an FR-S 2013 Asphalt!

I picked up the car last week but wanted to get the dealer installed swirl marks removed before posting pics. So here's the first pic

Sorry I don't have more pics at the moment, our house was hit by a tornado a few nights ago so we've been cleaning up that mess which has put all this superficial stuff on hold.

I took another pic or two with my SLR earlier, I'll try to get it up tonight.

Mechanically and interior, this seems to be a 9.5/10
Exterior, now that swirls are fixed a 9/10.

2013 with just over 20k miles on it the clock.

Probably from the crappy service wash that some dealers have. Thats why I always so "no" to the complimentary wash that they sometimes offer.

Some just have a machine that they park the car under and it does the whole car wash style routine, my local mazda dealer does this quite a bit however that is touch less and it hasn't once left a swirl

Hopefully you'll be able to report soon FRS vs BIMMER.

Which one will get sold off first ?

What a great combo !

On the bright siade you now own a sweet ride and if you had the car before the tornado you'ed have more than swirl marks.

It was what they did to it when they had it. Obvious poor job.

I think it looks pretty good now, not sure what you're seeing.

Both BMWs are staying, so is the FRS.

I had the car before the tornado. Luckily at our house we have EF1 damage to the house, so the garage and structure overall remain intact. My neighbors had their garage doors blown in and windows blown out. Folks across the street had it the worst with debris, water, etc all making it into the dwellings.

Yup, touchless is the preferred method but not all dealers have that. I've seen some cringe worthy dealership wash jobs...

Also as for preventing dealer swirls on top of saying "No" to the dealer, I find a nice heavy wash if you have time before the service and double wax really helps.
