DD only? Maybe a bit of autoX and backroads? Any DOT 4+ fluid will cover you just fine. My money would go to ATE TYP 200, used to be called 'Super Blue' is <$20 for 1L enough to do a full flush. Tons of love from casual trackers too so it's affordable and exceeds most needs for the casual enthusiast.

If you're tracking hard is when fluid needs to be upgraded, lots of options going all the way up to $60+ per Liter.

That's such a silly statement, based on your description you won't be able to tell the difference between $20/L fluid and $70/L fluid.

Here's the CSG comparison mentioned before:

Unless boiling fluid it should feel the same. So average person street driving isn't going to tell a difference.

Depends on usage if its worth getting a pricier/better fluid. I like my Project mu over RBF600 and it actually is cheaper cuz of its life. Going for rt700 next time. But I go to HPDE events so my usage is different.

I really don't know much about brake fluids

should I just get OEM then? or ATE type 200 as strat suggested?

I just want the least headaches with the same performance as when i purchased the car brand new

If you're not tracking, use OEM. Keep in mind, your brand new car had OEM fluid.
