I will NEVER get used to the sounds that injectors make. Being an old school carbureted V8 guy for so long makes that noise sound like pure terror to me. If one of my old cars made that damn clicking it meant something was going to go horribly wrong at any second. Every single time I go through a drive through where it is amplified I panic a bit "Is that louder? Different? That doesn't sound right?". I am always wrong and all is fine.

Tcoat's fear about the sound increase in drive-thrus is the same as mine haha.


A noise I can't figure out (or stand) is a whine my car makes in the higher RPMs on hard takeoffs. Sounds like a prius taking off. I'm guessing it's some belt, but I just don't know.

My trans did that.. but almost all the time.. ended up getting it replaced under warranty
